»ROUNDTABLE INTERVIEW« [006] DANIEL RÖDEL
Daniel Rödel is an Art Director with Bavarian roots who, after many years in the agency world, emigrated to Peru with his family. There, he works for local entrepreneurs, continues to serve European clients, and is the co-founder of the fashion label »Pacabamba«, which focuses on alpaca wool and ecological production.
In this »Round Table« discussion, we talk about his creative and professional development. It begins with his enthusiasm for skateboard deck design, which led him to hip-hop culture, where, as a toyboy in the graffiti scene, he became increasingly captivated by letters and their styles. After school and an apprenticeship, he gradually transitioned into the agency world, where he, among other things, developed the design for the football club RB Leipzig at Red Bull.
An impressive career, but one that was under the strain of the incompatibility between work and family. The result? Burnout. And then? A family vacation in Peru. There, Daniel not only rediscovered his creative energy but also found a new home with his family.
