For the third time i got invited by the porcelain factory Rosenthal to develop the design for one of their campaigns. This time: »Sixty & Twelve«. A limited and special edition, which celebrates 60 years of design history by presenting 60 iconic vases in twelve different colors. The specialty? The vases are not painted. Rosenthal found a way to include pigments into their renown white gold.
The creative approach to design the elements/ingredients campaign is described within the brochure as an article that takes the interested reader on a brief journey and shows how i used the »be water my friend« methodology to create the campaign’s conceptual foundation. the result, seen as design-elements was a custom font [developed with my colleague Cihan Tamti], a key-visual using all twelve colors and a series of sixty icons.
